The Company
An established main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee reclad and fire remediation works across residential blocks in the centre of Bristol. This is a freelance opportunity for a candidate with strong experience in occupied residential remediation projects.

The Role
Working under the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of reclad and fire remediation works across the residential blocks, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards, with a strong focus on resident liaison given the occupied nature of the buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing all on-site operations across the residential blocks from mobilisation through to completion

* Overseeing reclad and fire remediation works, including liaison with specialist subcontractors

* Managing site logistics across multiple occupied residential blocks in a busy city-centre location

* Acting as the key point of contact for residents, clients, and stakeholders, handling queries and concerns professionally

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety, RAMS, and fire safety/remediation-specific requirements

* Coordinating subcontractors, deliveries, and plant across the site

* Reporting progress, issues, and programme updates to the Project Manager

* Managing site records, progress reporting, and quality documentation

About You

* Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on reclad, fire remediation, or occupied residential refurbishment projects

* Comfortable managing multiple blocks and strong resident/client-facing skills

* Valid CSCS card essential

* SMSTS and First Aid essential

* Strong organisational and communication skills
