Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our client on various Highways projects in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
This is a temp to perm role, ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact on various highways projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all site operations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage and supervise all on-site activities related to highways projects.
·Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
·Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
·Implement and enforce site rules, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
·Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
·Qualifications:
oSMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
oCSCS Gold card minimum.
oTWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) or TWS (Temporary Works Supervisor) certification is desirable.
·Experience:
oProven experience in managing highways projects, specifically Section 278 and roundabouts.
oStrong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
·Skills:
oExcellent leadership and communication skills.
oAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
oStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·Other:
oFull UK driving license.
oWillingness to travel to various sites within Bedfordshire and surrounding areas
