Site Manager – Groundworks & Civil Engineering

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading groundwork and civil engineering contractor delivering a major long-term package in Gloucester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong groundworks, drainage, infrastructure and external works experience to take ownership of a large-scale project with a well-established and growing contractor.
Responsibilities:
*
Managing day-to-day site operations
*
Overseeing subcontractors and direct labour
*
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
*
Coordinating drainage, foundations, roads, utilities and external works packages
*
Maintaining high health & safety standards across site
*
Liaising with clients, engineers and senior management
*
Managing site paperwork, RAMS and progress reporting
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks/civils
*
Strong knowledge of drainage, infrastructure and reinforced concrete works
*
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills
*
Ability to manage fast-paced projects and drive programme delivery
