The Company:
Our client is a successful, professional and fast growing main contractor based in Bristol, specialising in a variety of refurbishment projects across Commercial, Residential, Student Accommodation sectors. Projects are typically between £250k - £2m in value and often involve changing the useage of a space whether from commecial property to apartments, or leisure/retail space or student accomodation.
Site Manager - The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join the team working initially on a £2m refurbishment/fitout project in Warminster. The project is a commercial property being converted into a Bowling alley and leisure space. The company is acting as the main contractor. You will be responsible for leading the day to day delivery aspects of the project, overseeing program, H&S, sub-contractors, direct and indirect workforce. The role will report to a Contracts Manager. Each ongoing project will be varied and local to Bristol/Bath, and the company is able to offer excellent career progression for hard working, loyal individuals.
Site Manager - The Person
* Teh role would NOT suit someone from a house building background or someone with soley New build experience as projects are refurbishment.
* You will have solid experience with either a national or regional main contractor
* Valid SMSTS/First Aid is essential
* Dymanic Site manager that can drive projects to completion
* Experience working on refurbishment projects
* Proven experience in managing sub-contractors and direct work-force
* High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme
