Site Manager

Duration: Approximately 15 weeks
Start: 19th October
Potential Permanent Opportunity: Yes – further local project available from January

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of an outdoor spa/country club project.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing refurbishment, leisure, hospitality, with a strong understanding of working in a live or customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.

* Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.

* Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

* Manage site logistics, deliveries and sequencing of works.

* Liaise with the client, project team and subcontractors.

* Monitor progress and address any issues that arise on site.

* Maintain site records, daily reports and relevant documentation.

* Ensure all health & safety requirements and site procedures are followed.

* Coordinate inspections, snagging and handover.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or similar construction projects.

* Experience within leisure, hospitality, spa, country club or high-end refurbishment would be highly desirable.

* SMSTS – essential.

* CSCS – appropriate to role.

* First Aid – desirable.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme.

* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the project.

* Good attention to detail and a strong focus on health & safety.

Opportunity

The initial contract is expected to run for approximately 15 weeks. For the right candidate, there is also the potential to move onto a permanent position on another local project commencing in January.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have successfully managed similar refurbishment projects and can provide relevant project experience/references
