Position Overview: As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities to ensure the successful delivery of a new build housing scheme in York. You will oversee the construction process, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure that health and safety standards are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing residential construction projects and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination.
Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all workers and subcontractors.
Liaise with the client, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are understood and met.
Monitor progress against the construction program and take corrective action as necessary to keep the project on track.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or defects promptly.
Manage site documentation, including permits, drawings, specifications, and quality control records.
Provide leadership and guidance to site staff and subcontractors, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Represent the company professionally at all times and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and local authorities.Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role, preferably within the residential construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office applications.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, building studies, or a related field.Benefits:
