Freelance Site Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment
Location: Stratford, London
Rate: £300 – £320 per day
Contract: Freelance
Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work with an established construction and fit-out contractor delivering projects across the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of site operations
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and trades
* Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues
* Ensure high standards of health & safety and quality are maintained
* Carry out inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections
* Manage site logistics, deliveries and welfare
* Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
* Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants and other stakeholders
* Coordinate daily and weekly works
* Assist with project handover and close-out
Requirements
* Proven Site Manager experience within fit-out, refurbishment, retail, hospitality or commercial projects
* SMSTS
* CSCS Card
* First Aid at Work
* Asbestos Awareness
* Fire Marshal
* PASMA
* Strong subcontractor and trades management experience
* Good understanding of construction programmes, drawings and specifications
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience with Temporary Works, IPAF or an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management would be advantageous.

Rate: £300 – £320 per day
