About the Company:  Contract Scotland are teaming up with a distinguished contractor renowned for its successful portfolio in civil engineering projects across the North Scotland. With a strong commitment to providing secure and diversified work, spanning both building and civil engineering realms, this partnership promises a rewarding journey.

Position Overview: As an experienced Site Manager, you'll manage the successful execution of a pivotal substation project in Argyll.  Your role is pivotal, demanding unwavering attention to detail, strict adherence to best practices, and a knack for meeting deadlines amidst the dynamic energy sector landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Uphold a safe working environment through meticulous management of health and safety protocols, comprehensive inductions, and ensuring adequate PPE for all tasks.
Ensure timely delivery of contracts within specified timelines, budgets, and client specifications, prioritizing safety above all.
Efficiently manage on-site direct workers and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive atmosphere.
Cultivate robust working relationships both on and off-site, facilitating seamless communication and cooperation.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring seamless logistics and timely delivery.
Conduct safety audits as mandated by line management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Directly engage with clients to ensure the delivery of top-quality results, fostering trust and satisfaction.
Background and Experience Required:

Hold a degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.
Demonstrate proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, with a preference for experience in the energy or substation sector.
Possess current SMSTS (5 Day), CSCS card, and First Aid Certificates.
Exhibit strong commercial and contractual acumen, complemented by prior experience in civil engineering.
Showcase exceptional communication and liaison skills, indispensable for fostering productive relationships.
Hold a valid UK driving licence.
