Site Manager (No.1) | Freelance | Newcastle | Temporary Start: 3rd or 10th August
Duration: 20 weeks

We're looking for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to take full responsibility for a £3m project at a live manufacturing facility in Newcastle.

The role will see you managing the site from start to finish, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme and ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard.

Scope of works:
Concrete mezzanine
Mini piling
Internal fit-out
Live manufacturing environment (although not the area they are working in)We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a project rather than simply supervising it.

Ideally you'll have:
Experience as a No.1 Site Manager on projects in the £2m-£5m range.
A main contractor background.
Experience delivering industrial, manufacturing, commercial or refurbishment projects.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
Strong organisational and subcontractor management skills.Previous experience working within a live manufacturing or operational environment would be an advantage, although it's not essential.
