I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to provide 2 weeks' site cover on a construction project in Oxfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who is available at short notice and is confident stepping into a live project to ensure works continue to run smoothly. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, maintaining health and safety standards, coordinating subcontractors and keeping the project on programme during the cover period.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the day-to-day running of the site.
* Coordinating subcontractors and site activities.
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to.
* Monitoring progress and maintaining programme requirements.
* Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks where required.
* Liaising with the wider project team and reporting on site activities.
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Site Manager on construction projects.
* Valid SMSTS certificate.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* First Aid at Work certificate.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to hit the ground running and take ownership of the site during the cover period.
This is a straightforward 2-week assignment with a reputable contractor and would suit an experienced Freelance Site Manager looking for their next contract.
