Construction Site Manager – Hospital Project
Location: North London – Hampstead / Camden area
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Duration: Ongoing
Day Rate: £350 – £400 per day
We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager for an ongoing position on a live hospital construction project in North London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of works, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors
* Overseeing daily construction activities
* Attending progress and client meetings
* Liaising directly with the client and wider project team
* Ensuring health & safety and site compliance
* Coordinating works within a live hospital environment
* Managing site documentation and reporting
* Monitoring programme and quality of works
Requirements:
* Valid SMSTS
* Strong knowledge of building and construction
* Previous Site Manager / Construction Manager experience
* Previous hospital, healthcare or live environment experience
* Good understanding of NHS processes and procedures
* Strong subcontractor management experience
* Confident and professional in a client-facing role
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Work phone and laptop will be supplied.
This is an ongoing freelance position, working 5 days per week.
