YOU MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS TO START ON SITE
We have a number of exciting contract roles available in and around the Essex/Kent area for experienced Site Managers. The ideal candidate must have SMSTS, First Aid & Enhanced DBS.
The projects range from 3-5 months and are set to start within the next 1-2 weeks. As a Site Manager, you will efficiently manage and successfully supervise the project from start to finish, ensuring that daily work on the construction project is monitored and responsibilities are assigned to staff and subcontractors.
You will be responsible for supervising and guiding all contractors involved in the fit-out and construction project, ensuring that material movement to and from the site does not cause damage to the material, workface or the public. Additionally, you will plan and organise site set-up to move labour, plant and materials around the site.
As a Site Manager, you will maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing health and safety standards and procedures, and complete safety inspection and site induction. Furthermore, you will ensure company safety policies are followed and first aid cover & equipment is present. You will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring the site is clean and tidy.
