Description:
Keyman Personnel, on behalf of one of the UK’s foremost construction companies, is seeking a highly competent and experienced permanent Site Manager. This position focuses on refurbishment of existing structures as well as new build projects, offering the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting construction initiatives nationwide.
As a Site Manager, you will be instrumental in leading and managing all site operations, ensuring works are carried out to the highest standard, on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including managing the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Monitor progress against the project schedule, adjusting as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Manage health and safety on site, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with the project team, including the Quantity Surveyor and Design Manager, to ensure that the project is delivered to the required specifications.
Qualifications:
* A relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction management
* A minimum of 5 years' site management experience, with a strong focus on new build projects
* CSCS card, SMSTS certificate, and First Aid at Work qualification
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in relevant construction and project management software
