Site Manager – Student Accommodation
Central Portsmouth, Hampshire
Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager for a student accommodation project in Central Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The project comprises a student accommodation building across 5 floors, with the successful Site Manager responsible for overseeing the internal works and ensuring the project runs efficiently to finish/handover.
We are looking for a strong and experienced Site Manager who is confident managing multiple trades and can take control of the internal side of the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all internal trades on site
* Ensure trades are working together effectively and to programme
* Drive productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship
* Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep the building progressing correctly
* Manage subcontractors and ensure they are working safely and efficiently
* Maintain strong communication between trades, management and other site personnel
* Take ownership of the internal works and ensure the project is delivered to a high standard
Requirements
* Previous Site Management experience is essential
* Experience working on student accommodation, residential or similar projects would be highly advantageous
* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Confident personality with the ability to pull trades into line when required
* Ability to coordinate multiple trades and ensure everyone is working together
