Site Manager – Planned Maintenance

East London | L&Q Contract | Up to £65,000 + Package

A well-respected and established planned maintenance contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a long-term L&Q contract, delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishment schemes across scattered properties throughout East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in social housing, planned maintenance or refurbishment to join a reputable business with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects across occupied and/or void residential properties, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard.

You will manage subcontractors and site teams, coordinate with residents and client representatives, and ensure the successful delivery of works from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes across scattered properties

* Supervising subcontractors and directly employed site teams

* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards

* Managing health & safety and ensuring full compliance with company and client requirements

* Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks

* Coordinating materials, labour and subcontractors

* Liaising with the client, residents, housing officers and other stakeholders

* Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management

* Dealing with site issues and resolving problems efficiently

* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation

* Ensuring a positive resident experience throughout the works

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within planned maintenance, refurbishment or social housing

* Experience delivering kitchen and bathroom schemes would be highly advantageous

* Previous experience working on scattered-site residential projects

* Strong knowledge of health & safety and construction regulations

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

* Experience working with housing associations or local authority clients

* A proactive, professional and resident-focused approach

* Relevant SMSTS and CSCS qualifications
