Site Manager – London Bridge
Site Manager – Commercial Construction
Location: London Bridge, London
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Package
Ridgeway & Co are recruiting two experienced Site Managers for a major commercial construction project based near London Bridge.
Our client is an established main contractor looking to strengthen its project delivery team with experienced managers capable of taking ownership of significant packages of work from commencement through to completion.
Responsibilities will include:
* Managing subcontractors and day-to-day site activities
* Taking responsibility for individual construction packages
* Monitoring programme, quality and progress
* Coordinating trades and subcontractors
* Managing health & safety on site
* Conducting site inspections and quality checks
* Reviewing drawings and specifications
* Working closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team
* Identifying and resolving potential programme or delivery issues
* Maintaining high standards of quality and site presentation
Requirements:
* Previous Site Manager experience with a main contractor
* Commercial new-build experience preferred
* Strong package management experience
* Excellent subcontractor management skills
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme
Salary: Up to £70,000 plus package.
Two permanent positions are available.
