As they undertake various construction projects, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager with SMSTS certification and fit out experience to oversee and manage site operations.

Job Description:

As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure the successful execution of construction projects within a designated time frame. Working closely with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and site personnel, you will oversee all aspects of site management, safety compliance, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management: Take charge of day-to-day site operations, including coordination of subcontractors, scheduling of work activities, and management of resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Health and Safety: Uphold strict health and safety standards on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to mitigate hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure that construction works meet specified standards and client requirements. Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations from the project specifications.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate site personnel to achieve project objectives safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Foster a positive working environment conducive to collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements:

Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
Valid First Aid Certification.
Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably within the UK market.
Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and practices.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work on short-term assignments at various project locations.
