Experienced Site Manager Required – Night Works
Location: Tesco Store | Future Projects Across Surrounding Areas
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee night works at a Tesco store, managing a specialist fire protection contractor on site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the contractor, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards, while minimising disruption to store operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee specialist fire protection contractors on site.
* Supervise nightly works, ensuring programmes and deadlines are met.
* Ensure all health and safety requirements, RAMS and site procedures are followed.
* Coordinate site activities, labour and materials.
* Monitor workmanship and quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
* Liaise with the client, contractors and relevant site personnel.
* Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within commercial or retail environments.
* Experience managing specialist contractors, preferably fire protection or passive fire protection.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and site documentation.
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work nights and manage site activities independently.
* Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS, and a valid CSCS card.
The Opportunity
The initial project will be night works at a Tesco store, with further projects planned across surrounding areas for the right candidate. This offers the opportunity for ongoing work beyond the initial site.
