About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a retail store in Clydebank. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to contribute to a dynamic project within a defined timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations on-site ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless progress.
* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports and daily logs.
* Address any issues that may arise and implement effective solutions swiftly.
Requirements:
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Certification: Essential for managing site operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* First Aid Certification: Required to handle any on-site emergencies efficiently.
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card: Mandatory for site access and verification of qualifications.
* Asbestos Awareness Training: Necessary to ensure safety measures are in place when dealing with potential asbestos materials.

* Proven experience in managing refurbishment projects, preferably within the retail sector.
