We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major delivery contractor leading Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and initial site preparation works on a key Water Treatment Works (WTW) facility in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

This long-term, Outside IR35 contract offers excellent project longevity as it moves from ECI, site investigations, and constructability planning into full site execution under the AMP8 investment cycle. Key Responsibilities

ECI & Site Preparation: Oversee early site activity in Waterlooville including ground investigations, service mark-outs, trial holes, site establishment, and access road setups.

Constructability Input: Work closely with design engineers and project management during the ECI phase to review buildability, logistics, sequencing, and temporary works strategies.

Subcontractor & Site Leadership: Direct front-line subcontractors, specialist survey teams, and trade gangs, managing daily site resources to keep lookahead schedules on track.

Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce strict water sector safe systems of work, execute pre-work checks, manage Permits to Dig/Work, review RAMS, and maintain a safe working interface on operational assets.

Quality & Documentation: Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), maintain detailed daily site diaries, track non-conformances, and report progress to the delivery team.

Requirements & Qualifications

Water Sector Background: Proven track record as a Site Manager delivering civil engineering or asset upgrade packages on UK water or wastewater treatment sites (WTW / WwTW).

ECI / Early Works Experience: Practical background managing site surveys, service isolation, ground investigations, and early site setup phases.

Desirable: Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or CAT & Genny / Service Avoidance training.
