Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a Tier 1 construction contractor on a permanent basis.
You will deliver commercial construction projects across Wales, with values up to £20 million.
The Role
You will manage the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and work closely with clients and the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
Maintain health, safety and environmental standards.
Deliver projects on time and within budget.
Manage programmes, drawings and specifications.
Coordinate trades, labour, materials and the supply chain.
Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
Liaise with clients and project teams.
Monitor costs and minimise waste.
Manage snagging, defects and project handover.
Maintain professional site standards.
Support sustainability and community objectives.
Requirements
Proven Site Manager experience.
Track record delivering construction projects.
Experience managing subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
Knowledge of construction programmes, drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
CSCS card.
SMSTS.
Full UK driving licence.
First Aid at Work certificate.
