Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager with SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification to join our client based in Nottingham.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
- Monitor progress, quality, and productivity of work on site, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of site activities, such as daily reports, safety inspections, and progress updates.
Requirements:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and access to own transportation.
Day shift - Monday to Friday
Pay rate - negotiable, depends on experience
