Description:
Bridgeman Recruitment Services (Agency) are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-end new-build office development in Ellesmere Port.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing quality-driven commercial construction projects, with previous experience in education, healthcare or high-end commercial developments. You must be confident managing subcontractors, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and within specification.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of the construction site.
*
Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives to maintain programme deadlines.
*
Ensure all health and safety procedures, RAMS and site regulations are followed.
*
Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure works meet the required specifications.
*
Liaise with the Project Manager, client, consultants and subcontractors.
*
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections.
*
Monitor progress against the construction programme and resolve issues promptly.
*
Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
*
Manage deliveries, materials, resources and site logistics.
*
Ensure the project is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.
Essential Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on new-build commercial, education or healthcare projects.
*
Experience delivering high-quality, complex construction projects.
*
SMSTS certification.
*
CSCS Black Manager card or relevant equivalent.
*
First Aid at Work certification.
*
Strong knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.
*
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and competing priorities.
