Site Manager Required in Bishopsgate - Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established joinery and fit-out contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a project based in the heart of Bishopsgate, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out and joinery projects to join an established contractor on a project running through to January 2027.
The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and have the experience and confidence to manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works progress in line with the programme.
*
Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
*
Overseeing joinery and fit-out installation works.
*
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
*
Monitoring quality of workmanship and ensuring project specifications are met.
*
Liaising with the project team, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
*
Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain programme and productivity.
*
Maintaining site records and providing regular progress updates.
Requirements of the Site Manager:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out and/or joinery projects.
*
Strong knowledge of site management procedures and construction processes.
*
Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
*
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
*
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running.
*
Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications, as required for the project.
