Site Manager - Cat A & Cat B Office Fit Outs
Location: North East / Newcastle area
Rate: £300 per day - UMB or PAYE
Duration: Minimum 8 months with the potential for ongoing/permanent opoprtunites in the future
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a well-established client specialising in Cat A and Cat B office fit out projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional Site Manager looking for long-term work with the possibility of joining the client on additional projects beyond the initial contract.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a commercial office fit out project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Managing subcontractors and coordinating all site activities
Ensuring health & safety compliance across the project
Monitoring progress against programme deadlines
Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
Liaising with the client, project team, and suppliers
Maintaining quality standards and site documentation
Requirements
Previous experience managing Cat A and Cat B office fit outs
A Joinery background is preferred
Valid SMSTS
Valid CSCS Card
First Aid at Work
Fire Marshal / Fire Warden certificate
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage fast-paced commercial fit out projects independently
Must be able to pass a background check / security clearance to work on a police station project
