FREELANCE SITE MANAGER – COMMERCIAL FIT-OUT & REFURBISHMENT
Location: Glasgow / Central Scotland
Start Date: Monday 9th November 2026
End Date: Friday 18th December 2026
Contract: Freelance – Approx. 6 Weeks
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Clarkson Owens Recruitment is working with an established commercial fit-out contractor seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a short-term assignment commencing 9th November.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a commercial fit-out/refurbishment project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
The Role:
* Oversee daily site operations and subcontractor coordination
* Manage project programmes, quality and health & safety
* Coordinate specialist trades, including joinery, partitions, ceilings and M&E
* Liaise with project teams and client representatives
* Manage site logistics, materials and deliveries
* Oversee snagging and successful project handover
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience managing commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
Strong subcontractor coordination and programme management skills
Ability to take ownership of a project and deliver to tight deadlines
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential
Available from 9th November through to 18th December
