Site Maintenance Engineer

Nelson Recruitment Services are urgently looking for a practical, reliable and proactive Site Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities team at our Tamworth site. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in ensuring our site remains safe, functional and well-presented while supporting colleagues across the business.

£29-£31K

What You'll Be Doing

As our Site Maintenance Operative, your responsibilities will include:

* Carrying out general repairs to site fixtures and fittings

* Painting, decorating and completing basic maintenance tasks

* Installing appliances and equipment

* Assisting with the upkeep of external yards and landscaped areas

* Disposing of waste safely in designated areas

* Setting up meeting rooms and replenishing refreshments

* Supporting statutory inspections and compliance activities

* Promoting and maintaining high standards of health and safety

* Providing maintenance support across other company sites when required

* Assisting with showroom and trade stand display installations

* Driving company vehicles as part of your duties

* Providing additional support to the Facilities team as needed

Essential

* Full UK driving licence

* Basic electrical wiring knowledge

* Basic plumbing and carpentry skills

* Painting and decorating experience, including filling and painting

* A positive, helpful and approachable attitude

* Professionalism and integrity when representing the business

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

* Forklift licence

* MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) licence

* PAT Testing qualification
