About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Foreman / Supervisor to run multiple residential projects simultaneously across Upminster, Barnet, and London.

This is a leadership role with an 80/20 split — approximately 80% site management and 20% hands-on work on the tools when necessary to support the team and keep projects moving forward.

If you take pride in high-end finishes, take complete ownership of your sites, and know how to manage subbies and programmes efficiently, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

*

Project Management: Oversee 2–3 live residential construction sites across London.

*

Team Supervision: Coordinate and manage directly employed trades and subcontractors.

*

Programme & Planning: Plan daily/weekly site activities to ensure strict deadlines and milestones are met.

*

Drawings & Specs: Read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately.

*

Logistics & Materials: Organise plant, deliveries, materials, and labour requirements in advance.

*

Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular quality inspections, ensuring full compliance with Building Regulations and H&S legislation.

*

Reporting: Complete daily site logs, track progress, take photos, and report updates.

*

Client & Trade Relations: Attend meetings with clients, architects, building control, and project managers.

*

Hands-On Support: Work on the tools when required (approx. 20% of the role) to assist the site team.

*

Handover: Manage snagging items to an exceptional standard prior to final client handover.

Essential Requirements

*

5+ years of experience as a Site Foreman / Supervisor in the residential sector.

*

Proven track record managing house extensions, loft conversions, structural alterations, and full refurbishments.

*

Demonstrated experience simultaneously running multiple live sites.

*

Ability to read and build directly from structural and architectural drawings.

*

Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence required (own vehicle preferred, but must be fully capable of travelling between site locations).

Preferred Certifications & Tickets

*

CSCS Card (Preferred)

*

SSSTS or SMSTS (Preferred)

*

First Aid at Work (Preferred)

What We’re Looking For

*

Strong leadership skills with a "lead by example" work ethic.

*

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

*

Proactive problem-solvers who spot issues before they impact the timeline.

*

Highly organised individuals looking to grow alongside a fast-expanding construction business.

Benefits & Perks

*

Competitive daily rate (£200–£300/day depending on experience).

*

Stable, ongoing permanent contract via CIS.

*

Consistent pipeline of local and central London residential projects
