Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Engineer / Shift Manager to work night shifts on a major heavy civils and clean water infrastructure project in Southampton.

The role will involve overseeing night works associated with cofferdam backfill, pipework installation, and heavy civils operations.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate night shift operations on site

* Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme

* Manage subcontractors and site teams during shift operations

* Maintain accurate records and handovers between shifts

* Ensure quality and HSEQ standards are maintained throughout works

Site Engineer Requirements:

* Previous experience within heavy civils or water infrastructure

* EUSR Blue is a MUST

* CSCS Card

* SSSTS/SMSTS

* Strong communication and shift management skills

* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment
