Client: Tier 1 Main Contractor
Salary: up £50,000 + Car Allowance
  
Site Engineer / Sub Agent - Role Summary
   The successful candidate, in the role of Site Engineer or Sub Agent, will hold a dual responsibility encompassing technical oversight of project works, compliance with health and safety standards, assurance of quality, and management of commercial aspects of the project.   
  
Site Engineer / Sub Agent - Key Responsibilities:

Executes site engineering tasks such as setting out, surveying, and ensuring technical compliance of project works.
Supervises and coordinates subcontractors and site operatives to ensure efficient project delivery.
Implements health and safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental policies on-site.
Manages project documentation and records to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Assists in resolving technical issues and conflicts arising during project execution.
Participates in the training and development of junior staff members.
Collaborates with project stakeholders to maintain positive working relationships and address concerns promptly.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and quality.   
Site Engineer / Sub Agent - Requirements

Holds a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant construction discipline.
Demonstrates proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role within a main contractor environment.
Possesses proficiency in setting out, surveying, and technical aspects of construction projects.
Has a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
Exhibits excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
