Site Engineer (Forklift Trucks)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of various types of material handling equipment looking to recruit a new engineer to be based on customer site in Cheshire with some requirements covering customers in the surrounding area. With a competitive package and a number of other great benefits, this is great opportunity for an experienced Material Handling engineer.

Responsibilities

· Servicing a fleet of forklift trucks on customer site in Cheshire

· Coordinating and working alongside the other engineers working on site

· Reporting to the Regional Service Manager to ensure all equipment servicing is carried out efficiently

· Coordinating with the customer, resolving any queries to the customers satisfaction

· Covering the field on occasion when field engineers are on leave

Requirements

The company have strong preference for an individual with a background in Material Handling however, they will also consider applicants from something closely related such as Agriculture, Automotive or Heavy Plant. It is essential that you present yourself in a professional manner and are able to maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times. You will also be able to work on your own initiative and solve problems efficiently. In terms of location, it is essential that you are located within a Cheshire or nearby.

Benefits

· Competitive salary (up to £35.8k)

· Overtime paid at 1.6 times basic Monday to Friday and 2.1 times basic Sunday and bank holidays
