Senior / Supervising Engineer – Groundworks & Civil Engineering
Sphere Solutions are working with an established groundworks and civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Senior / Supervising Engineer to support multiple projects across Devon, South Somerset and Dorset.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to oversee engineering operations across several schemes, supporting site teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with project specifications and programmes.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee setting out and engineering activities across multiple groundworks and civil engineering schemes.
*
Support and supervise site engineers and operational teams.
*
Ensure accurate setting out, levels, measurements and as-built records.
*
Monitor quality, progress and compliance with drawings and specifications.
*
Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors.
*
Assist with technical issues, site inspections and quality assurance.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Engineer, Supervising Engineer or Site Engineer within groundworks and civil engineering.
*
Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying and engineering control.
*
Ability to support multiple projects and coordinate site teams.
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Location: Devon, South Somerset and Dorset.
