Site Engineer – Water / Wastewater
Location: Bran Sands, Middlesbrough
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently looking to speak with an experienced Site Engineer to join a well established contractor, working on a major wastewater project at Bran Sands in Middlesbrough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong civil engineering background and previous water industry experience to become part of a significant infrastructure scheme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support on site, carrying out setting out duties and ensuring construction works are completed accurately and in accordance with project drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out setting out duties across civil engineering and wastewater construction works.
*
Interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
*
Undertaking site surveys, measurements and quality checks.
*
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with design information and required tolerances.
*
Maintaining accurate site records, as-built information and engineering documentation.
*
Providing technical support and guidance to site management and construction teams.
*
Identifying and resolving engineering and technical issues on site.
*
Monitoring quality and ensuring construction standards are maintained.
*
Supporting site management with the coordination and delivery of works.
*
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed throughout construction activities.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering.
*
Essential experience working on water and/or wastewater projects.
*
Strong setting out experience.
*
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
*
Experience with surveying equipment and relevant engineering software.
*
Good understanding of quality control and site documentation.
*
Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
*
CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
