Site Engineer

Description:

We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer for a project based in Stansted. The successful candidate will have a strong technical ability in setting out using a Leica TS16 Total Station and excellent AutoCAD skills.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out accurate setting out works using a Leica TS16 Total Station.
*
Interpret and work from construction drawings, specifications and technical information.
*
Prepare, review and amend drawings using AutoCAD.
*
Produce as-built surveys and maintain accurate site records.
*
Check dimensions, levels, coordinates and alignment to ensure works meet project specifications.
*
Liaise with site management, contractors and the wider project team to coordinate engineering activities.
*
Identify and report any discrepancies between construction drawings and site conditions.
*
Ensure all engineering works are completed accurately and in line with project requirements.
Essential Requirements
*
Proven hands-on experience using Leica TS16 for setting out.
*
Very good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
*
Must be able to provide 5 years' UK address history.
Desirable - Not Essential
*
Previous security clearance is preferred but not essential.
*
Previously held a valid airside pass or experience working in an airport/airside environment.
