Location: Port Talbot
Rate: £400 - £450/day

Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking for your next challenge on a major reservoir and water infrastructure project? We are recruiting for a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering a significant reservoir improvement / water infrastructure scheme, offering long-term work and career progression opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong background in heavy civils, water, infrastructure, earthworks, reinforced concrete and major projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing engineering activities across the project
* Managing and reviewing setting out activities
* Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, WPPs and QA documentation
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and specification
* Managing subcontractors and site teams
* Liaising with Site Agents, Project Managers and client representatives
* Managing temporary works coordination requirements
* Reviewing drawings and resolving technical queries
* Supporting planning and sequencing of works
* Maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with project requirements
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
* Energy, earthworks, highways, flood defence, utilities or heavy civils experience desirable
* Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and infrastructure delivery
* Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS / SSSTS beneficial
* Temporary Works knowledge advantageous
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
* Full UK Driving Licence
