Site Engineer
Lower Thames Crossing, Essex
Salary: £36,750 - £42,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Lodging Allowance + Private Medical + Life Assurance
Carmichael UK are recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor delivering a major package of works on the Lower Thames Crossing project.

The Role
As Site Engineer, you will support the safe and efficient delivery of earthworks and civil engineering activities, ensuring works are completed in accordance with programme, specification and quality requirements. You'll work closely with the site management and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out earthworks and civil engineering works.
Carrying out GNSS and survey activities.
Interpreting drawings and specifications.
Producing and maintaining QA records and as-built information.
Preparing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and associated documentation.
Monitoring quality standards and compliance.
Supporting short-term planning and programme delivery.
Assisting in resolving technical and engineering issues on site.
Promoting a positive health, safety and environmental culture.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Earthworks, highways or major project experience preferred.
Knowledge of surveying equipment and setting out techniques.
CSCS card.
Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Strong communication and organisation skills
