PSR Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Reputable Main Contractor who are looking to employ an experienced Site Engineer on a Freelance basis.
The contractor has several schemes across Yorkshire, working in the steel frame industrial sector. Typical project values completed by the contractor range from £5m - £20m.
As Site Engineer, you would report into a Site Manager and Contracts Manager. The role would include setting out and quality assurance for the duration of the appointment.
Role and duties:
Quality Assurance
ITP's (inspection & test plan)
Setting out
Supervision of trades/ delivery teams
Planning work packs and method statement/risk assessments for all work involved
Attending planning and workshop
Driving programme at a site level.
Quantifying material and ordering through the procurement system
Keeping accurate QA records or site progress.
Reporting to weekly progress to Construction Manager and planning team.
Working with the commercial team to build the scheme within budgetExperience/Qualifications:
CSCS Card
SSSTS / SMSTS (Non Essential)
HNC/HND or Equivalent
On site experience as an Engineer including setting out and QA responsibilities
Prior use of Microsoft Office Packages
