We are actively seeking a professional with a background in Civil Engineering to undertake the role of Site Engineer for a premier principal contractor here in Glasgow. This position is an opportunity to contribute significantly to substantial Civil Engineering projects within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) reviews and engage in detailed project planning.
Perform precise setting out duties, ensuring accuracy and attention to fine detail.
Execute rigorous quality control assessments on as-built drawings.
Uphold the highest safety standards, establishing exemplary targets and benchmarks.
Manage administrative tasks diligently, maintaining impeccable Quality Assurance documentation.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
A minimum qualification of an HNC in civil engineering.

Previous involvement in highway projects would be considered an asset.
Proficient in using Trimble or Leica and skilled in CAD operations.
Must possess the necessary certifications, including a valid CSCS and SMSTS.
