SITE ENGINEER – RC FRAME | LONDON
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on an RC Frame construction project for a sub contractor in London.
Position: Site Engineer
Location: London
Sector: RC Frame / Reinforced Concrete
Start Date: October
Duration: Long-term / Project-based
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out and surveying for RC Frame works
* Ensuring works are constructed accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications
* Checking levels, dimensions, line and position
* Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings
* Carrying out quality control and inspections
* Producing and maintaining site records
* Liaising with subcontractors, site management, and the wider project team
* Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to programme
* Supporting technical queries and resolving site issues
* Ensuring all works comply with relevant specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer on RC Frame projects
* Strong setting-out experience
* Proficient with Total Station / GPS / surveying equipment
* Ability to read and understand construction and structural drawings
* Good knowledge of reinforced concrete, formwork and reinforcement
* Relevant engineering qualification preferred
* CSCS card required
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
