Site Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in highways to oversee night-time operations on a significant improvement project. This scheme is designed to facilitate traffic flow into a newly developed residential and commercial area. The successful candidate will ensure that the project progresses smoothly, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise and coordinate night-time construction activities on site
·Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
·Conduct site surveys, setting out, and leveling
·Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly
·Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders
·Manage and document site activities, including preparing daily reports
·Ensure the accuracy of construction work and adherence to technical designs
·Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems as they arise

Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways projects
·Strong knowledge of highway construction methods and materials
·Ability to work night shifts and manage site operations during this period
·Proficiency in surveying tools and construction software
·Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
·Strong communication and leadership abilities
·Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
·Valid CSCS card and a clean driving license
