Description:

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, HS2, in the Buckinghamshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role on a major civils project, working alongside a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering complex earthworks, structures and infrastructure packages.

Key Responsibilities

Accurate setting out using GPS and total station equipment

Producing and maintaining as-built records

Preparing, reviewing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and quality standards

Leading and driving Quality Assurance (QA) processes on site

Completing inspections, quality records and associated documentation

Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and management

Supporting the delivery team with technical queries and engineering solutions

Essential Requirements

Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects

Strong setting out experience

Extensive knowledge of ITPs, QA and quality management procedures

Experience working with drawings, specifications and technical documentation

CSCS Card

Full UK driving licence

Right to work in the UK
