Description:
Peace Recruitment are currently seeking a Freelance Site Engineer to our clients team for a 12-month project based in Fife. The selected candidate will work with a respected civils contrators on their flagship project.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data for project planning and execution.
* Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site using appropriate equipment and techniques.
* Monitoring and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
* Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve technical issues.
* Providing technical guidance and support to site operatives and junior engineers.
* Ensuring health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to at all times.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
* Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification (desirable)
