Bond Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Earthworks Site Engineer to undertake a freelance role with a well-established yet still-growing team.
Projects focus predominately within the Thames Valley area, the successful Engineer must have experinece on highways and be ale to upload points from an instrument to heavy plant machinery.
The Site Engineer will be tasked with:
* Using EDM, GPS and machine control to monitor the earthwork volumes
* processing of design models for machine control GPS application
* setting out of minor earthworks operations where machine control cannot be utilised
* undertaking site testing
* Management of earthworks engineering activity
* Liaising with the design and commercial teams
* Arranging and overseeing external test companies
* Quality Assurance and report writing
To be successful in the role, you will:
* Have proven experience within earthworks
* MUST HAVE OWN ROBOTIC KIT
* Be experienced with Land Surveying and Site Engineering
* experience of earthworks modelling software
* Have machine controlled GPS Experience
* Have a valid CSCS card
* Appropriate Right to Work
* Be qualified up to degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
