Setting-out Engineer
One of our well-established Civil contractors is seeking an experience Site Engineer/ setting our Engineer to work on infrastructure Project based in West London. The role is to start as soon as possible, contract will include a mixture of RC work and monitoring. It is a long-term opportunity.
This will be mixture of Day and night shift. Shifts vary from 8 hrs to 12 hours; however, you will be paid minimum 10hrs a shift.
As the Site Engineer/ Setting out Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Accurate setting out/surveying of RC work, UTX work etc.
* Conduct quality control checks and build records
* Perform monitoring activities and produce report.
Requirements:
To be successful in this Site Engineer/ Setting out Engineer role, you need to be:
* CSCS card is required
* Previously worked as a Setting out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor.
* Experienced in Civil/ RC work and Groundwork- min 6-7 years UK experience.
* Must be proficiency with most surveying instruments (including TSO16), be familiar with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
