I am working with a well-known Civil Engineering contractor based in South Devon, to recruit a Site Engineer or Assistant, to join their team. If you have a HNC or degree within Civil Engineering or similar, this could be the perfect first step in your career to become an Engineer with a forward-thinking company with a great presence within the South West.

Overview:
* Working as part of the Project Delivery team, you will take responsibility for the setting out, engineering and technical delivery of projects from £10k-£1.5M. As a graduate, you will shadow the team and gain enviable experience and knowledge
* Setting out and surveying on various sites including highways, earthworks, RC structures, drainage etc…
* Use of a CAT & Gene to locate and mark services ahead of excavation
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors and general workforce
Suitable candidates:
* Graduate/Assistant level candidates MUST hold a HNC/D or Degree in a relevant field, with the willingness to learn on the job and work as part of a structured team.
* Recent experience as a Site Engineer, ideally to include work on highways, earthworks, RC structures and drainage
* Must have good experience with GPS and other robotic digital setting out equipment
* Must be able to use AutoCAD and other Microsoft packages
