Contract/Freelance Site Engineer – RC Frame – Camden
Location: Camden, London
Contract: Freelance / Contract
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Approximately 2–3 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
Keyman Personnel, part of the KTS Group, are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to work on a 6-storey reinforced concrete (RC) frame project in Camden, London, on behalf of our client.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Engineer with strong RC frame experience, a valid Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) ticket and experience using a TS06 Total Station.
The Opportunity
As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and engineering duties associated with the construction of a 6-storey RC frame, working closely with the site management team to ensure works are delivered accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Setting out, levelling and surveying for reinforced concrete frame works
*
Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications
*
Using a TS06 Total Station for setting out and surveying
*
Coordinating and calling off reinforcement steel and concrete deliveries
*
Undertaking Temporary Works Coordinator responsibilities
*
Carrying out dimensional checks, surveys and as-built records
*
Maintaining accurate QA/QC documentation and site records
*
Liaising with site management, subcontractors and other members of the project team
*
Ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with required quality and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience
*
Proven UK experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
*
Previous RC frame experience – essential
*
Valid Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) ticket – essential
*
Confident and competent using a TS06 Total Station – essential
*
Experience calling off steel and concrete – essential
*
Strong setting out and surveying experience
*
Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings
*
Good understanding of QA procedures and site documentation
*
Able to work independently within a busy construction environment
*
Available to start immediately
