Site Engineer – Freelance
Location: Central London

Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a large and established groundworks contractor on a major project in Central London.
The project involves the delivery of a steel-frame industrial unit, with the engineer responsible for the groundworks and associated civil engineering package.
Responsibilities
*
Setting out groundworks, foundations, drainage and external works
*
Setting out holding-down bolts and steel frame foundations
*
Carrying out levels, surveys and as-built information
*
Quality assurance and maintaining accurate site records
*
Working from drawings and specifications
*
Liaising with site management and subcontractors
*
Ensuring works are completed accurately and to programme
Requirements
*
Strong Site Engineer experience
*
Previous experience working for a groundworks contractor
*
Experience on steel-frame / industrial projects preferred
*
Confident using robotic total stations and GPS
*
CSCS card
*
Own laptop with AutoCAD
*
Able to work independently and manage engineering requirements on site
