Description:
My client is a long established, leading, regional Civil Engineering Contractor.
Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Southern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a contract basis Site Engineers to deliver infrastructure works.
There are two positions here covering projects in Arundel and Robertsbridge.
These are initially short term roles, although the company have a track record of offering longer term assignments to the right individuals.
Duties include:
Setting out roads, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
