Description:
My client is widely recognised as one of the leading civil engineering contractors in South Wales, delivering multi-million-pound schemes on time and to budget. Their portfolio of work includes earthwork/remediation schemes, renewable energy projects along with infrastructure works. Due to their continued success, they have an opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Site Engineer you will:
* Have experience of setting out using robotic total stations on civil engineering schemes.
* Be the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working site.
* Provide levelling and surveying across site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
* Have experience of GPS machine guidance/control (not a necessity)
Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with:
* Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.
* A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
* Excellent communication skills.
* HND//Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Understanding of AutoCAD.
Salary and benefits include:
* £33,000 - £40,000 per annum
