Our client is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a groundworks package on a freelance/ad hoc basis.

The successful candidate will be required to provide their own surveying equipment and software and must be confident working independently to establish and maintain site controls throughout the duration of the project.

Key Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Engineering role, with strong groundworks knowledge

* Must possess own:

* Survey equipment/kit

* Laptop

* AutoCAD software

* Valid CSCS Card

* Ability to work on a self-managed and proactive basis

* Excellent setting out and site control experience

Role Responsibilities:

* Establish initial site control and setting out

* Carry out ongoing engineering support as required

* Attend site on an ad hoc basis, typically 1–2 days per week following initial setup

* Liaise effectively with site management and subcontractors to ensure works are completed accurately and efficiently
